This garden-inspired styled wedding shoot at Tangled Garden in Wolfville, Nova Scotia is everything a Spring bride would want a more. The wildflowers and lushness of the surrounding greenery perfectly mixed with the rustic yet romantic decor, setting the tone for romantic, organic and dreamy styled shoot.

About the Styled Shoot:

"I conceived this beautiful spring garden wedding inspiration to show off the gorgeous lushness available to the spring bride in Nova Scotia.

When thinking of a venue to represent the best offerings of a Nova Scotian garden in springtime my mind immediately went to Tangled Garden. It is a Nova Scotian cornerstone in offering up the bounty of the local garden.

Denise at Barefoot Blooms designed the flowers from the abundant variety of colours and textures found among the ornamental in their gardens and the wild harvested flowering branches, flowers and greenery found in the surrounding woodlands and along the rocky shores of the valley.

When I said "garden wedding" Karla at The Wedding Vogue jumped into action with idea after idea to create a perfect tablescape and set out to design a flowing white masterpiece that really bring my vision to reality complete with chandelier and miles of tulle draped from tree branches.

Oh Dina! has been creating these beautiful hoops of flowers and greenery for decorating your wedding space or home and I have been dying to use them in a shoot. For this wedding shoot she created two hoops of greenery which Karla attached the bride and groom calligraphy to decorate their seats. It is such a perfect idea.

I have worked so often with Chantelle Brown Make Up Artist and Hairstylist Julia Everhair. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, energy and joy they bring to a shoot. The look they designed for the model is wedding perfection.

Of course the piece de resistance of any wedding shoot is the dress. Katrina Tuttle Bridal created this magnificent dress for this garden shoot. It features dreamy romantic flowing skirts and delicate beading on the bodice. A Katrina Tuttle design is bound to make any bride feel like a queen and our model was no different.

It would not be a Nova Scotian wedding shoot without a nod to the sea. The Earth Godess Shop provided the bride with the most delicate shimmery jewellery created from freshwater pearls and gold-filled findings and they added that something special to the finished look.

The wedding rings were designed and created by Kiersten at Fervour's Own. The bride's ring is white gold with a grey diamond set in 14k yellow gold with an accompanying 10k yellow gold band. The groom's ring is 14k yellow gold.

Lupin Design Studio on behalf of Duly Noted Stationary designed the stationery suite and menus for the shoot. The garden theme spread across the paper and perfectly paired with the colours of our shoot. They were so beautiful and elegant.

A huge thank you to Layers Cakes for the wedding cakes and cupcakes. They outdid themselves with so many options for us. We scheduled this shoot in what turned out to be the warmest day for that date EVER and the frosting held up perfectly.

The kind people at Moore's Clothing for Men really turned out to help us on this shoot. At the last minute they generously offered to arrange fittings and supply the stunning suit for the groom. I highly recommend working with the fine people at their Halifax Shopping Center location. A quick walk through their showroom really shows the variety of options available to the Nova Scotian groom who wants to add some style to their look on their wedding day."
